I am an observer and a participant.
I notice details. I get excited by little things.
I am an only child, an Aries, and an ENFP.
I used to copy definitions out of the dictionary.
I like to admit when I don’t know the meaning of a word or phrase.
I have started, but not filled, more journals than the number of years I’ve been alive.

I am Lee-Anne

Little Bites Big is an idea based around ‘little’ having just as much as or more value, staying power and competitive drive than the ‘big’. I focus on the small-scale and local in my profiles and reviews. I offer and invest my time, money and energy into the same. I believe in community-driven and community-focused events, spaces and ventures.

I previously started this blog to be about food, to do restaurant reviews because a lot of what I notice(d) has to do with food. I changed this blog recently, (about six years ago) because I noticed that I tend to notice more than just food-related bits.  I notice the expressions on the faces of statues, patterns in the garbage that people throw out, beautiful buds on new spring trees, adorable songs, quirky expressions, and sociological patterns.

I welcome you to my chronicling of these little bits….

Thank you to Leah, from thxthxthx for reminding us that writing is an art:

I also have a facebook where you can like me, a twitter where you can follow me, and an instagram where you can see what I see.

If you want to send me an email, do so at littlebiteswithbig AT gmail DOT com!
