Digital and Technical Nostalgia – A Visit to The Personal Computer Museum

A little wait in the Salvation Army to get picked up for the day trip with 6 other friends in a mini van that really likes to squeal when it takes corners, leads us to a GO station parking lot to have a road pop and some snacks, before arriving in Brantford, ON.

Why were we going there?

Well, obviously:

While we were given a tour of one of the most extensive video game collections in North America by Syd, a guy who knows the hosts of gaming TV show, and named his dog Coleco, we went to see the oldest (still functioning!!) computers and gaming systems, from the beginning of computer history.

I got to play Pac Man, Mah Jong and Pong on different systems, but, for me, it was more of a visual experience:
